This course is designed to teach marina employees about the major safety issues they will deal with on a day-to-day basis in the harbor. Marina employees face unique safety challenges in their harbors. This course provides essential information to support the wellbeing of staff and harbor users alike. It is designed to help employees recognize hazards, protect themselves and others, and educate the public to be more aware and safe. This course is part of the Career Training for Ports and Marinas program. Work done is on your own time within a designated period of time. Requirements for the class: must have a computer with internet access, speakers OR headphones, personal email address, Adobe Flash Player.
This is a noncredit training which earns 15 continuing education contact hours.
